Authorized GROUNDWING employees can request permanent deletion of their individual account from inside the app or by contacting GROUNDWING. Deleting the app from a device does not delete an account.
Request process
Two secure ways to request deletion
01
Request inside GROUNDWING
In the signed-in cloud workspace, open Account in the top header, select Account & privacy, then choose Delete account. Review the whole-account warning and select Yes, delete account to submit your request. Your current sign-in helps us verify that the request belongs to you. The request applies to your complete GROUNDWING account and all of its organization and location memberships.
02
Use the email fallback
If you cannot sign in, send the request from your work email and include only your employer or FBO and work location. We may need to verify your identity and authority with your organization before processing the request.
A verified employee-account deletion request covers data used to provide that individual account, including:
the employee profile and sign-in identity;
active sessions and access to assigned organizations and locations;
role and location memberships associated with the account; and
account-specific preferences and device registrations, where applicable.
This page is for GROUNDWING employee accounts. Passengers using a valet ticket or QR code do not create a GROUNDWING employee account. Privacy requests about passenger or vehicle information can be sent through the same contact address and may be routed to the responsible FBO.
Operational records and retention exceptions
Account deletion does not automatically erase an FBO’s operational records. Vehicle custody records, reservation records, status history, audit events, security records, communications records, and related business records may need to be retained by GROUNDWING or the responsible FBO when required for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal or contractual obligations, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational recordkeeping.
Where permitted, direct account identifiers may be removed or de-identified while necessary records remain. If an FBO controls the relevant account or records, GROUNDWING may route the request to that organization and assist with its verified instructions.
What happens after you submit
We verify the requester and identify the correct organization and location.
We confirm the request’s scope and identify any records subject to a retention exception.
We process eligible account data and provide confirmation when the review is complete.
If immediate access removal is needed, ask your manager to deactivate the employee’s access while the deletion request is reviewed. Do not email passwords, PINs, authentication codes, passenger details, vehicle details, photos, or other sensitive operational data.
